Cecilia Lueza's oeuvre carries an implicit message that mixes mysticism and earthliness. She has been able to interweave all aesthetic and pictorial dimensions, leaving for posterity a humanistic testimony.

Born in Argentina, she started studying fine arts at a very young age and she graduated from the Universidad Nacional de la Plata.

In 1998 she had her first solo show in Buenos Aires. Shortly after wards the artist moved permanently to the United States. In the early 2000 Lueza began to show her work steadily in both group and solo shows in the United States, Argentina, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Her first large-scale sculptures were exhibited in Orlando, Florida in 2002. Since then she has been working on a variety of site-specific art projects and public art projects as well as public art commissions in many cities throughout the United States.

Throughout her career, Lueza has intensely explored a wide range of artistic media, from traditional media like painting, drawing, and sculpture- in wood, metal, polyurethane, and ceramic- to much more recent resources, like installation and multimedia art.
